About this artwork
In this work, I captured the serenity of sunset mixed with the melancholy of winter, using dominant blue tones that envelop the landscape with an air of calm and reflection. I wanted to convey that intimate connection between nature and the city, inviting the observer to immerse themselves in a moment of peace and contemplation. This still, tranquil energy will transform any space into a tranquil and emotional refuge.
This work was a finalist in… the XXVI Francisco de Zurbarán International Painting Competition, Fuente de Cantos, Badajoz (Spain), 2020.
