About this artwork
In my creation, I meld acrylics, oils, and ink to capture the visceral energy and untamed spirit of horses charging across a the surf at Sunset. Inspired by the horses of the French Camargue in this landscape I use Ink washes to represent water splashes, overlaying with acrylic and oil paints, giving a modern impressionism, realism, and semi-abstraction feel. The water movement and motion of the horses evoke both the ethereal and the dynamic, crafting… scenes rippling with life. The melding hues and textures echo wild freedom, inviting viewers to embrace resilience and vigor in their own lives. This piece promises to infuse any space with a sense of freedom and movement.
A mixed media artist, London Wilde, primarily uses acrylics, ink, layered with oil paint or pastels, stemming from a childhood entrancement with watercolors. By combining water flow techniques with traditional brushwork, her art reflects contemporary Asian and Feng Shui themes and often features natural subjects enhanced by Mandarian calligraphy. Her work, a dialogue of trauma and transformation, floods the modern spaces with vitality and tranquility.
