About this artwork
This mixed media work was based off of an image found in The New York Times. Acceptance is about the acceptance and love we get to feel on a very deep gut level. Hugging someone who even though they seem to disappear back into the ground...love holds it all together through all the turbulence and helps to give the person shape and form. This drawing was made from earth, matte medium, acrylic paint, Caran D'ache crayons and powdered graphite.
This… 11" x 8" drawing was drawn on an 11" x 14" piece of paper and can be matted and framed to the edges of the painting or "floated" in a much larger mat and frame.
