About this artwork
This mixed media drawing was based off of an image found in The New York Times. This is the hand of Mother Earth reaching down to her children with support and comfort. Mother Earth is creating a community full of strength and guidance.
This mixed media drawing was made from earth, matte medium, Caran D'ache crayons, colored pencils and powdered graphite.
This drawing is 10" x 8" and was drawn on an 11" x 14" piece of paper. This can be framed to… the edges or the drawing or "floated" in a much larger mat and frame.

« I try to follow that inner stream of connection where place and time melt away and my art can communicate the deeper questions and truths we all share. »
