About this artwork
This mixed media drawing was based off of an image found in the New York Times and shows a woman that is upside down. Do you ever feel like you are upside down? Here this woman's head is in the ground with roots attached to her head. Her shirt is covered with leaves and her pants are like tree trunks. Everything is upside down-but she is still connected, grounded and growing.
This 10" x 7" drawing was drawn on a sheet of paper that measure 11"… x 14". It can be framed tightly around the image or "floated" in a much larger mat and frame.
