About this artwork
This mixed media drawing was based off of an image found in The New York Times. Everyone it seems these days is having their heads bent down to their phones. It's almost like a religion where everyone is bowing their heads and seeing the light (metaphorically speaking). This drawing was made from acrylic paint, Caran D'ache crayon, ashes, matte medium and powdered graphite.
This drawing is 11" x 8" and was drawn on an 11" x 14" piece of paper. When… framing this drawing-it can be framed and matted to the edges of the image or "floated" in a much larger mat and frame.
