About this artwork
In this work, silence is not the absence of sound, but an evocative presence of nature that envelops and protects at every step. The horizontal panoramic format accentuates the landscape's expansive perspective, inviting the gaze to move slowly along the paths of one's own experience, as if on a solitary stroll.
The composition arises from the movement imparted to the canvas, a fluid gesture that allows the color to slide and spread freely. Using… a combination of inks and acrylics, I sought maximum transparency: it is precisely through this veil of green tones that the "skeleton" and the very soul of the tree emerges, revealing its most intimate and structural essence.
The landscape shifts upward, into a sunset where the transparency of the red evokes a shifting horizon. Here, the red color allows glimpses of ancient walls, symbols of a past transformed by time but alive in the heart.
