About this artwork
Dog's life
Painted in 1990 in my first studio in France, in Saint-Martin-de-Pallières in the Var region, this work marks an important period in my artistic journey. Presented in Limhamn, Sweden in 1990 and then at the Figuration Critique exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris in 1992, it already reveals the free and profoundly human universe that characterizes my work.
Beneath its deliberately mischievous title, this scene celebrates the tenderness… and complicity between humans and their faithful companions. Blending humor, poetry, and free expression, the work evokes the sincere bonds that give life its true richness.
Published in 2025 in chicle on museum quality art paper, this work is offered in a limited series of 36 copies, numbered and signed by hand.
Reservations open until August 15th. Shipments of artworks will begin in early September.
