About this artwork
This photograph was taken in summer in Arbois, in the Jura region, the hometown of Louis Pasteur. A renowned scientist, Pasteur was also an artist in his youth, creating drawings and pastels, before dedicating himself to science. This silver gelatin print evokes the colors of pastels and thus pays homage to the great Louis Pasteur.
