Setting herself a challenge, Louise has captured the transparent, floating nature of bubbles.
Softer pastel colours and drops of white give this work a lightness and sparkle. Painting almost perfect spheres by hand and eye takes time and practice. Louise has a great eye for detail and is driven to adjust and modify her works until they have depth and movement. Alizarin crimson and pthalo blue are amongst her favourite colours, softening tones and… colour strength as required has created an interesting work that would suit a contemporary home.

Louise Adams is an experienced painter and sculptor based in Australia whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Having always had an affinity with nature and animals, the rural environment in which she lives provides her with a continuous source of inspiration and delight. Louise's distinctive abstractions are most often created with acrylics and oils on canvas.
