About this artwork
In Reds, I continue the visual and emotional research of my Weird Fishes series. This work emerges from the intersection between instinctive gesture and chromatic intensity, where red becomes the driving force of the composition. The enamel flows over the acrylic base with a controlled spontaneity, creating layered textures that evoke rhythm, vibration, and inner movement.
The piece is a reflection on how color can act as both an emotional catalyst… and a structural element. Red, for me, embodies transformation — the shift from tension to vitality, from impulse to awareness. Through abstraction, I seek to materialize this energetic state and invite the viewer into a space where sound, emotion, and movement coexist.
Reds stands as a synthesis of my ongoing exploration of lyrical abstraction and the relationship between fluidity, balance, and expressive force.
