Scorpio belongs to my Zodiac series, where I explore the feminine figure through the symbolism of each astrological sign. In this work, the Scorpio archetype is portrayed as both powerful and enigmatic, embodying intensity, sensuality, and inner strength. By merging fashion-inspired details with surreal and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, I invite the viewer into a dreamlike world where beauty, mystery, and resilience coexist.

Luís Parreira is a self-taught figurative artist from the Azores, Portugal. From an early age, painting became his form of expression and self-fulfilment. Inspired by feminine beauty, fashion and mythology, his figures exude strength and elegance, often with a penetrating gaze.
