About this artwork
In this artwork I have been exploring the interplay of shadow and light, but most of all, the meaning of destiny. It undulates from a sturdy base to an ethereal halo, an embodiment of the journey from grounded strength to enlightened perspective. It's a sculpture casting a dynamic energy with a sense of progress and ascension.

Lu Szweda is a multidisciplinary artist based in the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in Ireland. He explores non-dualism that takes us beyond attachment to the often frightening and broken human condition. Szweda seeks to bypass the conditioned, divisive content of the mind, directly connecting with the primordial awareness within the viewer. The primary goal of Lu's art is to bring the viewer back to the source, to the heart of being. His work proposes new perspectives.
