About this artwork
In this sculptural lighting assemblage, I have woven the raw textures of nature with the industrial into an organic form that reaches upward, with a glowing canopy. This piece represents the depth of the wisdom with which the Nature illuminates us, and grandoise with which it astounds us. I love working both with the raw wodd or driftwood as well as the raw rust, and feel one and the same presence or the essence.

Lu Szweda is a multidisciplinary artist based in the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in Ireland. He explores non-dualism that takes us beyond attachment to the often frightening and broken human condition. Szweda seeks to bypass the conditioned, divisive content of the mind, directly connecting with the primordial awareness within the viewer. The primary goal of Lu's art is to bring the viewer back to the source, to the heart of being. His work proposes new perspectives.
