In creating this work, I channeled an intense flow of emotions through the bold use of red color and dynamic texture. Acrylic and plaster intertwine with epoxy to create depth and movement, evoking passion and vital energy. I wanted red...there are moments in life when you want red, a beautiful bright red with shades… of orange, at times slightly purple.
All this is barely perceptible under the gloss of the epoxy resin, which is also used in a non-uniform way to give even more emphasis to the material texture that distinguishes me.
