In 'Our Secret Place' I aim to evoke a sensation of freedom, exploration and life beyond the distance and nature. In a world of injustice and hurt, there is always a place you share with someone which is secret. This can be literal or not, ultimately a place you feel safe and free to live how you wish.
I layer both vertically and horizontally creating a path between perspective, depth,… space and light. These are Often referenced to landscape connotations. Viewers often see land, sky and sea.
