About this artwork
This work belongs to the "Tempus Fugit" collection, a Latin expression which can be translated as: "Time flies quickly". This is the first work of this collection, the beauty of which resides in large areas of bright colors and its mysterious lines.
The acronym "Lu", at the bottom right, signs the work of the artist. Several coats of varnish finish the canvas, protecting it and giving it its satin appearance. The painting is dated, signed on the… back and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Luc Villard is a French painter whose art has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in France. His abstract pieces contain themes of hidden faces and invented languages. Street art and 'Les Shadocks' (a French animated cartoon created by Jacques Rouxel which aired 1968–1974) have also influenced his compositions. Villard uses both dry and oil pastels, as well as acrylics, on cotton or linen canvases.
