About this artwork
Luc Villard has been drawing these strange animals since 2012, to which he tries to give their own singularity.
For this collection, the artist has chosen to give them first names from great literature. "Robin" takes its name from the mythical Robin Hood.
The drawing is made in acrylic on canvas. Several thin coats of varnish protect the work against UV rays and dust. The acronym "LU" is present on the front of the work. The painting is dated… and signed on the back. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

« In the pursuit of balance »
Luc Villard is a French painter whose art has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in France. His abstract pieces contain themes of hidden faces and invented languages. Street art and 'Les Shadocks' (a French animated cartoon created by Jacques Rouxel which aired 1968–1974) have also influenced his compositions. Villard uses both dry and oil pastels, as well as acrylics, on cotton or linen canvases.
