About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the contrast between freedom and constraint, using the sea and the moon as symbols of infinity and purity, enclosed in a network of sharp, broken lines. The black and white tones accentuate the drama and emotional depth, inviting the viewer to reflect that our eyes are informed by our brains, but it is from the heart that colors emerge. And if the heart lacks the color of emotion, the colors will be caged and…
