About this artwork
Floating is a series about colors, illusion and relationship between empy and filled space.
Several layers of colors are needed to obtain a atmospheric and radiant colors that evoke illusion of 3 dimension, and light effect.
Floating is the outcome of many years of experiments and from life painting about light effects. In this piece, I poured my emotions into thick, tactile oil strokes, blending abstract and impressionist energy. The deep blue dash… bursts through the soft, muted background like a heartbeat—erratic yet calm. It’s about the push and pull of presence and absence, inviting you to feel that quiet tension. This painting will bring a subtle yet powerful energy, sparking introspection and calm to your space.

« In Nature and Light there are all the answers I seek »
Luca Raimondi is a passionate Italian painter with international exposure and gallery representation. He paints with the intention of uniting classical, academic and a more modern, immediate sensitivity. Employing chiaroscuro and impressionist techniques, he investigates nature before presenting it to the viewer as he sees it. This results in moving, immersive landscapes that transmit ideas of solitude, peace and connection to nature.
