About this artwork
This painting was born after my trip to Diyarbakir, Turkey. I often see myself as this slightly stubborn, slightly majestic animal walking through life.. unbothered, focused only on my path, moving with a mix of grace and chaos. The decorative folkloric motifs are inspired by the patterns I found in Turkey, beautiful, ancient and a bit mischievous. It’s a playful blend of wild spirit, feminine softness and that “I know where I’m going” energy ;)
