The German painter Ludwig Arnold, born in 1950, studied at the Munich Art Academy as a master student under Prof. Rudi Tröger from 1973-1979. Arnold received a variety of awards and scholarships, such as the 1982/83 scholarship of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, 1987, the Barkenhoff scholarship Worpswede and 1988, the United States scholarship of the Bavarian Ministry of Culture.
