About this artwork
In November 2012, Ludwig Plotter drove through Upper Franconia and also reached the town of Waischenfeld. From the street he saw a tower and because of this tower "Stone Bag" he unpacked his painting utensils. The cloudy sky in November is low and the days are short. Painting must be carried out quickly under such conditions. Jogers in bright suits came by, rested and continued running. The sky opened and closed. The image composition looks conventional.…
But the motif of the tower can be found at the bottom of the canvas in a small, incorrectly colored sketch. And this tower structure continues upwards, with towers, rocks, and people in barely recognizable candlestick frames, everything is lovingly nested and lovingly nested in each other, always reinvented. “This corresponds somewhere to the “Matrioschka principle” of Genrich Altschuller’s invention algorithm TRIZ,” thought Plotter. This is how the picture got its name.
