About this artwork
The picture was painted in Fyns Hoved at the end of March 2016. This is the northern tip of the Danish island of Funen (Fyn på dansk) . The painterly process is prepared by a driving process. Because first the place of painting has to be approached or "experienced".
In terms of painting, the picture is characterized by a long drying process during painting in order to preserve the structure in the "schmadder" of the paint. For this reason, the picture… is also on the work table. The picture belongs to a series of Danish coastal pictures by Ludwig Plotter.
