This work is about a snow-covered field in winter. Because of the title, the work also has a quasi "religious" connection.
Title: "Patience Divides Violence". Let's put it this way: The people who work in the fields have little need for institutional violence.
The Feldbild series is about fields. A field out in the Feldmark is a field of earth, but in the modern world of data it is also a field of numbers. The field picture series seeks to represent… the ground or basis of our world. Our nourishment comes from the inner and outer fields that surround us. Science builds immense field pictures and hopes that this will lead to a reliable world picture. Ludwig Plotter sees it differently:
We get an image of the world not only with the help of computers and higher and higher resolutions, but also through painting.

Ludwig Plotter is an award-winning artist based in Germany whose paintings have been feautred in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. Through his distinctive works, he explores themes relating to nature and all that flows within it. For Plotter, there is no difference between technique and painting, just as there is no difference between art and science. He primarily creates with oils, tempera, resin, spray paint, and gouache on canvas.
