About this artwork
It is a work from the pizza picture series that has not yet been sprayed with stencils for writing the picture title.
Blaunix goes well with watercourses and springs that also bear this name, e.g. the Blautopf. As mythological creatures, mermaids have fallen somewhat out of fashion, but that doesn't stop them from existing - at least within the framework of animistic notions. There are certainly many mermaids and mermaids in the video world that… are fully animated, but there is something different about being animated than being animated. So this blue nix is not supposed to be an entertainer of watercourses and lakes, but a free being in a world of free thoughts and ideas. But there are free ideas and thoughts, of course, because there is puberty. In this respect, this Blaunix pizza picture is also the picture of the youthful "you're all stupid". And the mythological beings, who usually never (want to) grow up, are certainly right about that.
