About this artwork
The picture "Vorticet" belongs thematically to both the Vorticet series and the "terra sbilanciata" series, which deals with the earth being thrown out of balance - i.e. climate change and overexploitation of resources. In terms of iconography, the "one-way street" sign is further "perverted".
If you want to know more about the "terra sbilanciata" series, you can find it at this address:

The "line of development" of "one-way street iconography" can also be found there. The bit-like structure was created by a blunt plate stamp; and thus gives this vortex picture its name: "Vortexbit".
