About this artwork
The work (diptych) from the "Colli e Camicie" cycle (fabrics, plaster casts, and wood) was born from the idea of returning worn and used items of clothing to art, transforming them into painting-sculptures that reveal artistic research and socio-existential reflection, creating a dialogue between geometric elements such as the angle and the circle and posing questions relating to behavior in the male and female world.
The dynamic balance of two… opposing elements creates thesis and antithesis, edgy moments and the ability to endure in the constant search for mutual encounters and the daily struggle to accept the expectations of the "other" and the "different."
