Whales, which feed on a lot of phytoplankton, accumulate carbon in their bodies throughout their long lives. “When a whale dies and sinks to the bottom of the ocean, it traps an average of 33 tonnes of CO2, removing that carbon from the atmosphere for centuries. By comparison, a tree only… absorbs up to to 48 kilos of CO2 per year. "
The whale therefore goes to war against global warming, like a combat submarine.

Luis Gonzalez is an award-winning Belgian artist whose paintings have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in France and Spain.
