The work is about the untold story of our lives, and about the impact of Coronavirus on the world. The story of our world is unpredictable, and the future of our world, post-pandemic, is a mystery. The name: "Smith-Corona" is an ironic twist on the period that we are all currently living.

Luisa Adelfio is an award-winning painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in the United States whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Italy, and England. She describes her art as relating to memory, personal, collective, and universal.
