About this artwork
This is a cyanotype that shows reverence to the beginnings of life. In collaboration with nature, I arranged the objects and studied the light to arrive at this, a mysterious reaction of light and shadow and my own artistic energy.

Luisa Adelfio is an award-winning painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in the United States whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Italy, and England. She describes her art as relating to memory, personal, collective, and universal. Adelfio believes that as humans, we are united by our collective experiences as well as the experiences of those that lived before us.
