About this artwork
'Tempo rubato' pays reverence to those that lost their lives precociously to the Coronavirus. On the newspaper itself, there are phrases about each person, for example: "He had a great ear for music." As Luisa Adelfio draws on the paper, these phrases jump out at her, helping each person's contribution become a creative spark. For this piece, the piano is silent, and yet it plays eternally, immortalized by the art.
