Faintly is a dreamy work on paper.
The artwork has been created using pastels and charcoal mainly, with black ink, all artist quality.
She's been created on a heavyweight watercolour paper made by hand, bought in a quality art supply shop.
She is framed in an upcycled frame; I sanded and added new paint and varnish.
Living in Cairns with the Great Barrier Reef is a privilege only a few miles away in Far North Queensland, Australia.
I'm fortunate… enough to be able to create in my backyard and watch the electric blue butterflies do their circuits trying to find love before they die.
Life is so precious here. A bit of care for the environment is the least I can do by re-purposing a frame.
The work comes framed with an acrylic window instead of glass for safe delivery.
The glass will be used if you live close by and can pick it up.
There are 2 D-rings on the back for safe hanging.
She comes with a certificate of authenticity and is very carefully wrapped.

Luisa Manea is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based in Australia whose works have been exhibited nationally. In her artistic practice, she fuses textile art with fashion design and sculpture. Manea believes that, in the future, both art and fashion will interflow, inspiring us to be unique individuals and "accepting a more diverse culture of people". Her painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics on canvas.
