About this artwork
The pond, an unfathomable body of water, where light refracts, colors reflect, and the wind ripples its surface. In this work, I have tried to capture the depth of the stillness and the fleeting moments of clarity. Using acrylic paints, I have created layers that make the invisible visible and encourage reflection. It brings a calm, meditative energy into the home, inviting one to pause and immerse oneself in the subtle nuances of life.

Luise Kloos is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Hungary, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Croatia, and Germany. Motivated by the immediacy of expression, her abstractions are created with the intent of conveying a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers into "a state that touches them deeply". Kloos's distinctive pieces are made using pencils, ink, and mineral pigments found in the Himalayas.
