About this artwork
In this circle, a harmonious round shape, there are 2 situations: dark and light. Just as every event usually has two sides, it is also with an old house from the 18th century: light rooms, dark cellar. Conscious level and unconscious dimensions in one. Working with fine brushstrokes, the artist uses Indian ink here, which she applies very diluted in the light part.

Luise Kloos is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Hungary, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Croatia, and Germany. Motivated by the immediacy of expression, her abstractions are created with the intent of conveying a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers into "a state that touches them deeply". Kloos's distinctive pieces are made using pencils, ink, and mineral pigments found in the Himalayas.
