About this artwork
In this oil painting, I've explored the essence of discovery and the unknown. Abstraction allows me to convey the complex emotions tied to exploration—anticipation, solitude, and the exhilaration of the cosmos. The vague shapes and bold strokes invite you to contemplate the infinite, while the cosmonaut stands as a symbol of human ambition. This piece will bring a sense of wonder and curiosity to your space, igniting a ceaseless quest for the beyond…
within your home.

« It is such a challenging and complex act to portray one's emotions and ideas in images and colors, and yet maintain the balance of not taking those things too seriously as to render them unportrayable. »
Lukas Mouka's artistic beginnings can be traced back to watching his mother create watercolor paintings of natural surroundings during childhood family holidays. With impermanence and perception as central themes, he refrains from imposing expectations upon his work and takes a free approach instead, resulting in imaginative, striking paintings.
