This painting is inspired by a picture the artist took of her son at a time in which he was trying to find out what he wanted to do in the future, he was doing some soul searching, and although she could see this, she could only observe it...he had to make the journey on his own. Just like swimming under water, even if surrounded by others, we are in our own world, we do not see, hear or are able to speak.... we are alone, deep within ourselves.…
