About this artwork
An extraordinary work that emerged from play and the joy of experimenting. The artist applied white paint to a very thin corrugated cardboard, on which she sprinkled pure blue pigment and spread it with a spatula.
With a Japanese look, it opens up a large space. Luzena's preference for experimenting and creating works can also be clearly experienced in this work. She doesn't plan anything, she finds, she lets arise.
The background coincidentally… blends in with the color and the clear blue of the pigment, as in this extraordinary work. This lack of intent in her artistic expression is a guarantee for the unusual size of her works of art.
This work comes into its own in a large spacer frame on a black background and looks very noble with the color combination.

Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States.
