Luzena's passion to work with pigments from the ocher formations in Roussillon, Provence is vividly expressed in her work 'ErdenLicht'. She set a counterpoint with the spatula in the middle part of the picture. This stands out three-dimensionally. For the artist, rubbing the pigment chalk on the roughened cardboard is a sensual process that develops its own rhythm in the dialogue between… the work and the artist.

Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States. She lives and creates in the microstate of Liechtenstein, situated in the Alps. BilderKunst describes her works as concrete art, which comprises elements of collage painting, assemblage, mixed media, and painting fragment. The themes she expresses are “as complex as life” and represent her attitudes towards colour, shape and symbolism.
