With the clever arrangement of the colors, the artist manages without figurative elements and indicates in the title that it is a bullfight. This leaves open who is the perpetrator and who is the victim. The victim could also… be the torero. This leaves the viewer free to think about the meaning of bullfighting,

Barbaras BilderKunst has won several awards for her paintings, which have been extensively exhibited in Europe and the United States. She lives and creates in the microstate of Liechtenstein, situated in the Alps. BilderKunst describes her works as concrete art, which comprises elements of collage painting, assemblage, mixed media, and painting fragment. The themes she expresses are “as complex as life” and represent her attitudes towards colour, shape and symbolism.
