Red has long been present in Ly-Rose's painting. Whether it is sun, star, light, life, diabolical virus or beating heart of hope, symbol of the fire which today destroys our forests and our planet, it is also the end point of the canvas, the signature, the center , the core, where, from a symbolic point… of view, everything is at stake.
Ly-Rose presents here a work elaborated over time, where the "red dot", more or less marked and incandescent, buried in the material or scintillating, hidden or shown, bearer of hope or alarm signal, polysemic and chameleon , turns on and off like a common thread.
