About this artwork
When thoughts, situations or emotions pile up, I feel as if a hand wants to grab me by the throat. Then I need fresh air.
That's why I interpret FRESH AIR as a symbol of liberation from (old) burdens - negative memories, unnecessary objects or unimportant things. For me, the term FRESH AIR is a magical word for a new beginning, new possibilities. In the fresh air, I can gain clarity and organize my thoughts. The grasping hand that wants to take… the air away from me goes out.
Some of Bach's melodies, with their vibrations and refreshing elegance, can also bring me inner peace and clear thinking.
In my painting I captured the boundless freedom and pure energy of nature. Using vibrant acrylic paints, I painted an abstract rainbow that radiates dynamism and joie de vivre. The delicate lines whisper of hope and dreams.
