About this artwork
This multimedia painting was created by first putting down a colorful acrylic paint layer. Then oil sticks were applied to create a cacophony of color. Using these oil sticks both as a "doodling stick" and also blending them in created a beautiful, fun and bright picture.
I particularly enjoyed this loose style as it brought me full circle to my roots, where I started doodling on paper.
