–"Notation IVI" was created with gestural strokes and intense, direct pressure allowing each mark to take on a personality of its own.
– The technique used to create “NotationIV” is one where copper metallic foil is carefully applied through a variety of heat and pressures. It is a highly technical process that was developed by M. Clark.
– The edge of the piece is finished in copper.
–… As light bounces off the copper edge of the artwork, a halo of light will cast onto the wall.
– The luminosity fluctuates with shifting light creating constant visual interest.
– Signed on the side of the artwork. Also signed and dated on the back.
– Ready to hang––no additional framing needed. Wire attached to back for easy installation.
