Part of the “Inner Myth” series, it explores the quiet tension between identity and performance.
Once, she was a little girl too.
She had dreams, hopes, and visions of a brighter future.
But life led her down a very different path.
This painting is not about a “fallen woman.”
It is about a human being.
About the right to make mistakes. The right to fall. And the right to try to heal and begin again.
Despite the pain she has lived through, the… broken hopes, and the moral collapse, she still believes in God.
And perhaps that is why her eyes have not lost their light.
There is still curiosity in her gaze.
Still a spark.
Still a fragile remnant of the girl she once was.
I wanted to show the contrast between the woman society has already judged and abandoned - and the soul inside her that is still alive.
Sometimes behind the heaviest stories hides a child who simply wanted to be loved and happy.
