About this artwork
This choppy sea is inspired by the Canary Islands waters of the Atlantic, a bath in a deep watercolor ultramarine blue.
We live in a world full of turmoil and expectations, and to find our place in it, I believe we must interact from a place of strength and peace through small daily actions. It's not just about what you do, but how you do it. Every thought, decision, and emotion builds your inner power. Surrounding yourself with ART can mean creating… that peaceful place in your environment that inspires calm and helps you reconnect with yourself.
The choppy sea keeps us alert, like the turmoil of the outside world, but the deep ultramarine blue connects us with serenity and our inner strength.
Painted with vegan watercolors and acrylic inks on 100% cotton paper, on polycarbonate board.
Follow me if you like watercolor painting, inspired by nature, the landscape, if you find calm in the sea, the sky, trees, plants, and wild flowers.
Trained in Fine Arts, Macarena Sanz transitions fluidly from oil to graphite, but it is in the magic of watercolor where she finds her voice. With a bold technique that challenges the limits between figurativism and abstraction, Sanz approaches large formats to explore serenity in the face of chaos. His works are an oasis of tranquility that invite you to find calm amid the storm of daily life.
