About this artwork
In this work, I have sought to capture a light that fascinates me, that of the sea on a cloudy day, because it seems that the sea itself has more light than the sky, it turns a bronze green and the sky turns mauve. The transparency of the watercolor helps me evoke the tranquility and depth that the view of this Ibizan beach offers. With almost expressionist washes and a semi-abstract vision, I have sought to capture the serenity in the light of nature…
