About this artwork
The duplicity of pictorial techniques that govern Magi Batet's work, figurativeism and neo expressionism, lead him in this work to work the painting, initially, as an abstract painting and gradually take it to a representation of the anecdote, in this case the line of the coast of the beaches of Barcelona.

« Capturing space, drinking from the original sources of philosophy, achieving satisfaction with the balance of masses, colors, and light. »
Magi Batet is a Spanish artist whose paintings have been exhibited in Germany. His art explores his favorite subject, which is landscapes, both urban and natural. Through a neo-impressionist style that tends towards abstraction, he seeks the balance of composition and of colors, wherein, he fully integrates and explores all elements. Batet's dreamlike compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
