About this artwork
The unexpected colour on the sky, gives drama and energy to this print. A sailboat at full sail, cutting its way through the waves, purposeful toward the goal. The sense of movement yet some tranquility over the image makes it interesting. In my youthI used to sail a lot in the archipelago of south sweden, enjoying the wind, sun and the freedom to move without noise.
This is a linocut print in monotype. A few details on the sail are added whith watercolour.

"The selection presented here clearly demonstrates the artists versatility and plurality of
techniques. It seems the artist is more than comfortable with different kinds of paint and
medium. From the wide variety of artworks presented here, it very clear the artists is very
experienced in a wide array of techniques and can both explore abstraction and figuration."
