About this artwork
This is from a snapshot from an underwater video I took in a lake near where I live in Sweden. I got inspired from that photo then expeimented with the colours and the design to get this spacious and otherworldly feel of underwater landscape. Water has a speial magic to it, and shooting a video under the surface of the lake takes me to a totally new experience. The plants are floating and held by the water almost like they are loved by the lake.… The colours are subdued yet interesting. After getting the design in place, I played with adding some details to make it exciting also in close up view.

"The selection presented here clearly demonstrates the artists versatility and plurality of techniques. It seems the artist is more than comfortable with different kinds of paint and medium. From the wide variety of artworks presented here, it very clear the artists is very experienced in a wide array of techniques and can both explore abstraction and figuration." from portfolio review by Camille Lacaze at Skarstedt Gallery
